Johannine Bibliography:
The Fourth Gospel and the Letters of John
compiled by Felix Just, S.J., Ph.D.

INTRODUCTION / CONTENTS:

These webpages attempt to list all published BOOKS related to the study of Johannine Literature. Included are Bibliographies, Commentaries, Monographs, Collections of Essays, and Dissertations. Also included are Audio-Visual Materials related to John.

This collection is as comprehensive as possible for English-Language works printed from 1900 to 2006 . Also listed are select Older Works and Foreign Language publications (more will be added soon).

Hyperlinks are provided directly to Online Book Reviews, whenever possible,
Tables of Contents are reproduced for Festschriften and other Collected Essays.

Not included are studies dealing more broadly with Jesus, all four Gospels, the Book of Revelation, or the whole NT, unless they focus strongly on the Gospel and/or Epistles of John.
Also not included are Johannine articles and essays that have been published only in print format, since these are already readily available to scholars through the ATLA databases.

These webpages also provide links for E-TEXTS related to the Gospel and Epistles of John. Included are Primary Texts, Translations, Introductions, Commentaries, and Articles available online.
